This meta-analysis of randomized controlled trails, suggests significant lowering effects of CoQ10 on several inflammatory markers such as CRP, IL-6 and TNF-alpha. However, the authors mentioned that results should be interpreted with caution because of the evidence of heterogeneity and limited number of studies.

This study showed that supplementation with CoQ10 could reduce oxidative stress in children with Trisomy. This condition is associated with higher levels of oxidative stress than the control group of healthy children
